Lady Huskies Are Class AA Region 2 Champions, Shutout Bridgeport in Game 2

The Lady Huskies traveled to Bridgeport to face the Lady Indians in Game 2 in the best of three games in Class AA Region 2 action Tuesday evening. The final score was Herbert Hoover 4 and Bridgeport 0. The Huskies will open up double-elimination state tournament play on Wednesday, May 23 with a matchup against the Region 1 winner — either Weir or Petersburg — at 9:30 a.m. on Field #3.

Lady Huskies Cruise Past Bridgeport in Game 1 Class AA Region 2 Matchup

It was a warm and packed house at Michael D. Chandler field in Falling Rock, WV where the Lady Huskies took on the Bridgeport in Class AA Region action Monday evening. The crowd was electrified with Rebekah Woody’s three run homer in the bottom of the 2nd inning as the Huskies cruised to a 9-1 victory over the Lady Indians.

The Lady Huskies travel to Bridgeport this evening for Game 2 in the best of three series to have a chance to reach the Region 2 Championship.
