Glenda Faye Taylor, 77, of South Charleston, with a life well lived, entered into rest Sunday, January 14, 2018, surrounded with love.

She loved to travel, read and spend time with her family. Glenda touched the lives of all those around her and will be dearly missed by everyone that was blessed to know her.

Born December 24, 1940, Glenda was one of 10 children born to the late George and Macel Lawson.

She was preceded in death by three sisters; five brothers; and daughter, Ann Elizabeth Taylor.

Left to cherish her memories are the love of her life, her loving husband, Buddy Lee Taylor; daughter, Vicki Wolfe (Danny) of Pinch; son, Alfred Taylor of Pinehurst, NC; brother, Kenneth R. Lawson of West Palm Beach, FL; grandsons, Daniel Turley (Cassie) of Clendenin and Richard Turley (Morgan) of Ocean City, MD; three great-grandsons, Bryson, Braeden and Ayden; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank to the wonderful nurses at the Hubbard Hospice House for the care, comfort and strength at this difficult time.

Per her request, she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Curtis Price Way, Charleston, WV 25311.
