Marcella Faye Wells, 75, of Charleston, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 2, 2018, surrounded by her loving family and friends.

She was born on July 14, 1942, in Charleston to the late Lester McGrew and Marcella Carney.

Faye was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She was always known for her smile that would light up a whole room. Anyone that met her immediately loved her. She was passionate about yard sales and shopping.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Kenneth Wells Sr., and her twin brother, Ray McGrew.

She is survived by her sons, Kenny Wells Jr. and wife Karen of Charleston, Jeff Wells and wife Regan of Elkview; grandsons, Chris Wells and fiance Carrie Williams of Cross Lanes, Colten Wells of Elkview; sister, Helen “Dee Dee” Young and husband Hokey of Dunbar; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor Jody Pauley officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

Friends may visit two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
