Terry Qualls, 65, of Elkview, went to meet the Lord, Monday, December 11, 2017, after a short illness.

He was born March 1, 1952, in Charleston. He is preceded in death by his father, Glenn R. Young, and his mother, Wanda Young; sister, Terri L. George; brothers, Dwight Hannah and Brian Dennis.

Terry is survived by his brothers, Glenn E. (Sue) Young, Danny C. (Debbie) Young, Randy L. (Sandy) Young, and Jamie (Stacy) Young; sisters, Patricia (Gene) Riley, Cindy (Gary) Crites, and Lisa (Kenny) Myers; brother-in-law, Stanley George; and many foster brothers and sisters, and honorary sisters, Jo Burdette and Carol Cunningham.

Terry was a member of Little Sandy Baptist Church, and attended church there and several other churches when he had the opportunity. He was always in church whenever the doors were open, and he was especially close to his niece Heather Young, and his Uncle Roger Cunningham, who was more like a brother to him, both of which he attended church with, on a regular basis.

Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 16, at the Little Sandy Baptist Church with Rev. Roger L. Cunningham Sr. officiating. Burial will be in the Young Family Cemetery, Elkview.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, December 15, at the Little Sandy Baptist Church.
