Eating Smart, Being Active – led by WVU Extension

Eating Smart, Being Active (ESBA) is a FREE community class on cooking, physical activity, and nutrition. The class is 9 weeks long and will be held at Cabin Creek Health Center from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on October 11 through December 13th, every Thursday except Thanksgiving. There will be an enhancement given away at every class along with refreshments. Childcare is also available.

The lessons in ESBA include: physical activity, nutrition, healthy lifestyle choices, food preparation (cooking skill development), food safety, and food resource management. The class is geared towards young adults with children and grandparents raising grandchildren. This program is funded by the USDA.
