CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) — A man accused of killing another man after being sprayed with bug spray will remain behind bars until his trial.
Randall Woods pleaded not guilty in court on Wednesday. His attorney asked for a bond reduction but it was denied.
Woods is charged with murder and malicious wounding in connection to the shooting that happened in August.
Kanawha County deputies say David Elmore sprayed Woods with bug spray, that’s when they say Woods shot him.
They say Woods then drove home, called 911 and waited for investigators to arrive.
Woods’ trial is scheduled for April 9.
