Allen Harold “Junebug” Young, 59, of Coopers Creek, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.
He had worked for Means Construction and enjoyed riding his motorcycle and going fishing. Allen played guitar and wrote gospel music.
Surviving are his parents, Harold Young and Juanita Anderson Young; sons, Jeffrey Dye and Jackie Lee Young; daughter, Penny Richmond; sister, Debra (Scott) Means; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; companion, Joyce Townsend.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, at Hafer Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Means officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
