Anna Marie Tyree, 61, of Elkview passed away Monday, February 19, 2018 at Hubbard West, South Charleston.
Anna attended Antioch Advent Christian Church and Leatherwood Advent Christian Church. She enjoyed helping people and her family. She loved her family and looked up to her brothers. Anna had worked for O.V. Smith & Son and for Krogers at the Crossing Mall. She was a 1976 graduate of Herbert Hoover High School. Anna had a big Church family and lots of friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Ruby Hazel Legg Tyree; son, VJB Tyree; brothers, Gilbert Tyree, Timothy Tyree; nephew, Steve Tyree.
Anna is survived by her loving family, brothers, Kermit Tyree and wife, Joann, Paul Tyree and wife Pat, Bo Tyree and wife, Gail, Corky Tyree and wife, Betty Tyree; nephews, Shawn and Scott; nieces, Kim, Lindsey, Jessie, Sherri, Kay, Hope, Bobbi, Angie; and granddaughter Janice Browning.
Service will be 1:00 pm Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018 at the Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Leroy Conner officiating. Burial will be in the Hughart Cemetery, Sissonville.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2019 at the funeral home.
