Tommy Wayne Smith, 62, of Falling Rock, WV, went home to be with the Lord Monday, May 7, 2018, at CAMC Memorial after a long illness.
He was the son of the late Bert and Dessie Larch Smith. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Smith; and brother, Gene Smith.
Tom attended Jordan Mound Church. He loved to hunt and fish. He worked with Vecellio and Grogan Construction Company and helped build the bridges in the Elkview and Clendenin area on I-79. He was also a carpenter and set mobile homes throughout the State of WV.
He is survived by daughter, Amanda Lee Wagner; sons, Tommy Wayne Smith II and David Smith; brothers, Roger, Ron, Don and Dan Smith; sisters, Mary Hardway and Janette Hardway; grandchildren, Ryan and Jason.
The visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, May 11, at Matics Funeral Home, Clendenin. The Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 11, at Matics Funeral Home Clendenin, WV, with Rev.
