Nearly 3,000 Appalachian Power customers are expected to lose and be without power as crews work to repair a broken pole after a crash in Clendenin.
Spencer Rd., which is Rt. 119, is closed after an SUV hit a utility pole and went over the hill. The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The crash happened a little after 1 Monday morning near the intersection of Thorofare Rd.
Metro 911 says Rt. 119 may be closed until 8 Monday morning as AEP crews work to repair the broken pole.
