West Virginia State Police have named a person of interest and the victim of a Clay County homicide.
On Wednesday night, Milton Robertson, 67, was found dead in his home with a gunshot wound and multiple stab wounds, according to State Police Capt. David Lemmon.
Milton, of Left Fork Sandy Road in Wallback, is believed to have been deceased in his home for several weeks, according to Lemmon.
Joshua Robertson, 44 and Milton’s son, is the person of interest, according to Lemmon.
That does not necessarily make him a suspect, police said.
“We wish to speak with him concerning any events that may have occurred there,” Lemmon said.
Robertson is possibly driving a brown or tan Hyundai Santa Fe with a West Virginia plate number of 9VS-728, according to Lemmon.
People with information about the investigation or the location of Robertson are encouraged to call the State Police at 304-286-3185.
