VIENNA, W.Va. — The high school softball state tournament is set for Wednesday and Thursday, May 23-24 (with a rain-date of Friday, May 25 if needed) from Vienna.
All three defending state champions, Hurricane (AAA), Herbert Hoover (AA) and Wheeling Central (A) have returned for this year’s tournament.
State tournament play is a double-elimination format.
