Billy Lee Rollins, 83, of Charleston, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, January 14, 2018.
Billy was born in Clendenin to the late Willie and Maysel Rollins. He is also preceded in death by his loving wife and high school sweetheart for 61 years, Edna Rollins, and his brother, Kenneth Rollins.
Billy served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a deacon for the original Sandy Grove Baptist Church, of Elkview, and for the Horner Baptist Church of Procious. He worked as a metal construction worker for 30 years for the Sheet Metal Union and loved providing for his family.
He is survived by his son, Charles W. (Lucinda) Rollins and several cousins.
In honor of Billy’s request, there will be no services.
He will be buried at Elk Hills Memorial Park.
