Clyde Orville Shultz Sr., 83, of South Charleston, passed away with his family by his side on Sunday, February 18, 2018.

He was born on December 12, 1934, in South Charleston, to the late Ezra and Georgia Mae Shultz.

Clyde was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers local #132 for 55 years. He was a member of the NRA.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara June Shultz; sons, Clyde Shultz Jr., Horace Lee Shultz; daughter, Cynthia Mae Adams; seven brothers; and three sisters.

Clyde is survived by his sons, Herbert “Butch” Shultz (Darlene) of South Charleston, Kenneth Shultz of Charleston, Norman Shultz (Jackie) of Elkview, Travis Shultz (Linda) of South Charleston; daughters, Mary Kennedy (Jim) of Elkview, Patricia Williams (Carl) of Charleston, Lillian Eggleton (Richard) of New Holland, OH; son-in-law, Larry Adams of Charleston; 18 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Br. Mark Parsons-Justice, OSL, officiating. Burial will follow in Shultz Cemetery, South Charleston.

Friends may visit two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
