Gerald “Keith” Stricklen a loving husband and father of Elkview passed away April 1, 2018 at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston.
He was twice retired, once from his own construction business and also from The WV State of General Services. Keith loved to bowl and bowled in a league for a number of years. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed the outdoors, wetting a line and hunting wild game. He served his country in the 130th Air Lift Wing of the National Guard for six years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ulysses Carl Stricklen and Freda Wines Stricklen; brothers, Bobby Paul and Carl Wayne Stricklen; sister, Lois Jean Watts.

Keith is survived by his loving wife, Letha “Gail” Stricklen; sons, Keith Allen (Kimberly) Stricklen of Elkview, WV., John Stricklen of Hurricane, WV.; daughters, Katreni (Matthew) Chapman of Hurricane, WV., Cindy Inman, NC; brothers, Bill Strickland, Ray Pauley, and David Pauley; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.

Service will be 2:00 pm Friday, April 6, 2018 at the Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Joseph Pauley officiating. Burial will be in the Stricklen Cemetery, Frame.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm Thursday, April 5, 2018 at the funeral home.
