Harold E. Angel, 69, of Elkview, passed away in the morning hours of April 20, 2018, to meet with his daughter, Amy Lynn Moore, in Heaven. Also preceding him in death was his mother, Edra Kathleen Burgess.
Harold was a U.S. Army veteran, where he was a Purple Heart Recipient of the Vietnam War.
He retired from Volkswagon, South Charleston Plant and U.S. Postal Service.
Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Hilda Angel; son-in-law, Dr. Scott Moore; grandchildren, Sarah Lynn Moore and Bradley Scott Moore, who he loved with all his heart; his loving Fur baby, Cooper; sisters, Sue Cottrell, Judy Pittman and husband Raymond, and Janet Latta and husband Robert.
Special thanks to all family and friends who have been there for Harold. He loved you all.
Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 23, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, with Pastor Joe Adkins officiating. Burial with Military Graveside Rites will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services on Monday.
