Rev. Donnie G. PauleyReverend Donnie G. Pauley 81, of Big Chimney went home to be with his Lord and Savior February 12, 2018, after a long illness.

He was born July 26, 1936, to the late Quincy Pauley and Pearl Thomas of Olcott, West Virginia.
He was a Pipefitter and worked out of Local 625 for 30 years. He became an ordained minister and dedicated his life to preaching and spreading God’s word. He was a member of Spradling Gospel Tabernacle. He enjoyed the beach, listening to gospel music, and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Jannetta Pauley: siblings, Tommy, Duard, Rodney, Clayton, Altha, and Ruth.

Donnie is survived by his son, Tim Pauley and wife Debbie of Sissonville, daughter Kathy Chandler and husband Edward of Big Chimney, and daughter Sherry Scott and husband Bob of Big Chimney. He is also survived by sister Janet Baire of Alum Creek, 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Curtis Price Way, Charleston, W.V. 25311.

Visitation will be February 16, 2018 from 5pm to 6pm for family, and public viewing will be from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral service will be held February 17, 2018 at 1pm with Reverends Jerry Vance and Harold Boggs officiating. Singing will be provided by Heart 2 Heart. Burial service will be immediately after the funeral at Milam Deal Cemetery in Sissonville.
