Ruby Ellen (Woods) Hall, 94, of Clendenin, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, April 21, 2018.
Ruby was born to the late Oley W. and Lula Woods. She spent a large portion of her life being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Ruby was extremely passionate, always thinking of others. Whenever a family need arose, Ruby was there, as she spent several years caring for her mother due to illness. She enjoyed being outdoors, caring for her vegetable and flower gardens.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Elmer Hall; daughter, Carol Bishop; and sisters, Reba Casto, Delcy Blackwell, Jean Bird, Louise Delanie, and Neoma Cox.
Ruby is survived by her daughters: Peggy Reed, June (Harley) Belcher, Becky (Bob) Taylor, Cindy (Johnny) Cobb, Mary (Gary) Wiseman, and Sondra (Richard) Larch; sons, Gary (Debbie) Hall and Joseph (Mila) Hall; brother, Oley D. Woods; sisters, Luella Rucker, Ogie Samples, and Joan Critchfield; 21 grandchildren and 36 great – grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 26, at Hafer Funeral Home, with Speaker Robert (Bob) Fields officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral. Burial will follow in Reamer Hill Cemetery, Clendenin.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Reamer Hill Cemetery, 1307 Mud Lick Road, Clendenin, WV 25045.
